John Ohanian, Chief Data Officer at CalHHS and Director of the Center for Data Insights and Innovation, and Sadie St. Lawrence, CEO of Sacramento-based nonprofit Women in Data spoke on a panel at TechCA's Forum on Emerging Technologies on Dec. 7 where they talked about the role of the Chief Data Officer, a position that has gained significance as data becomes more central to government operations.  Moderated by TechCA CEO Bill Maile, the group discussed professional development, diversity, access, and governance in the realm of data management. 

Amy Tong, Secretary of the California Government Operations Agency, gave the keynote address at the TechCA Forum on Emerging Technologies on December 7, 2023.
